Description:
Provide direct instruction to 9-12 grade students in core content area. Assist students as they work through online courses, as well as supporting students completing any incomplete grades they have earned through the year. Teachers must have access to their own curriculum and that of other high school teachers. Small group support, online study labs and direct teaching will all be components of the daily work schedule.
Requirements:
Current Oregon teaching license with Language Arts endorsement; Current Teaching License with Math endorsement; Current Teaching License with Science endorsement; Current Oregon teaching license with Social Studies endorsement. Strong organizational skills. Online software management experience. Knowledge of Google apps and docs.
Qualifications Desired:
Prior experience with the Fuel Education platform preferred. Experience with online curriculum development and assessment, strong communication skills, work collaboratively with team members, foster relationships with students and parents. Licensed, Temporary, summer position at Newberg High School.
Calendar/Benefits:
June 16-18; June 23-27; 8 hours per day, 8am -3pm, plus 4 hours of training.
Salary Per Diem, Paid by Timesheet, in accordance with 2024-2025 Licensed Salary Schedule.
