What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscaping Assistance Technician position at Newberry Landscape?

In designing and implementing successful landscapes, Newberry Landscape creates environments of lasting beauty using natural site resources that encompass the aesthetic, functional, and budgetary objectives of our clients.
No previous experience needed.
- Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties such as; applying plaster, fixing fountains, and other duties.
- Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. Trim shrubs and pull weeds. Cutting down tree limbs.
- Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes. Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer.
- Sweep walkway or power wash of debris.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.
- Rake, dig, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed.
- Install rock, cement, lighting, water, and furniture.
Masonry and Carpentry skills not required but highly favored.
MUST have reliable transportation.

Pay: $14.75 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
