Newbury Living, a well-established and growing property management company, is looking for a Leasing Agent to work as a team at a HUD-subsidized apartment community in Burlington, Iowa. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market and lease apartments to maintain high occupancy
- Execute certification of income and assets for residents at move-in & annually in a timely manner
- Collect and process rent and security deposit payments
- Adhere to fair housing laws and Newbury Living processes & procedures
- Provide professional resident relations
Qualifications:
- LIHTC property management experience preferred
- 3 years of apartment management experience preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills
- Must possess a valid Iowa driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
