We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. You will be responsible for identifying pest issues, applying treatments, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem.
- Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on client needs and environmental considerations.
- Apply pesticides and other treatments safely and effectively, following all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for various pest control tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment applications and follow-up actions.
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and provide recommendations for maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Drive to various job sites using company vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, or farm operations is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery relevant to pest control tasks.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on sales techniques to promote services effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
