Project Manager - Automation

Job Title: Project Manager

Department: Automation

Reports to: Operations Manager

General purpose of job:

Manage the automation portion of all assigned projects for Emcor and outside customers so they are delivered on time, within budget, while maintaining quality standards.

Primary duties:

• Provide guidance to ensure project milestones are met according to schedule.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
• Writing requests for information, change requests, etc. Providing solutions when possible.
• Provide closeout documentation at project completion.
  
  

Administrative duties:

• Maintain excellent communication between the automation department and its customers.
• Verbally communicate as much as possible.
• Follow up important verbal communication with email for record.
• Fully understand the scope of the project.
• Coordinate schedule with team members
• Continue to monitor project to ensure adherence to design, scope, specifications, plans.
• Evaluate estimate with job cost report throughout project.
• Maintain assigned company vehicle
• Assist manager with staffing and training needs
