Job Summary
The Superintendent is responsible for maintaining a professional, open, and positive line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal teams, and field employees. This role involves supervising employees, ensuring a safe work environment compliant with government regulations and RMC Safety protocols. This is a traveling position and requires frequent travel (Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Miami, Virginia, etc).
Responsibilities

- Ensure the worksite complies with OSHA regulations and RMC Safety protocols.
- Oversee the installation of materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Maintain consistent communication with General Contractors to stay informed on expected installation dates.
- Ensure quality control and assurance across all projects.
- Coordinate material and equipment needs with on-site leadership and the Project Manager.
- Schedule and manage the delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
- Keep project statuses updated to ensure timely completion.
- Attend and actively participate in General Contractor meetings.
- Conduct weekly inspections and safety meetings, ensuring signed safety forms are submitted to the General Contractor and RMC Safety team.
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs to monitor progress and support installers.
- Identify and resolve job site issues promptly.
- Manage purchase orders and additional work requests.
- Maintain positive communication with field employees.
- Oversee subcontractors, ensuring work meets contract and company requirements.
- Stay updated on RMC policies, industry standards, and government regulations.
- Be available after hours and on weekends for emergency or customer-related issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other trades.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, and mediation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and relevant construction software.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- OSHA 30 Certification required.
- EPA Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate in person and via telephone.
- Manual dexterity to handle objects or controls.
- Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
