Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a role in supporting daily operations by managing administrative tasks, maintaining records, data entry, and assisting with financial documentation. This position is essential to ensure the smooth functioning of our accounting cycle and requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills.
Duties
- Answering incoming phone calls in a professional manner while providing excellent customer service.
- Perform data entry bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts. Data entry work with inventory, accounts payable, purchase orders and other areas as needed.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for both physical and electronic documents to ensure easy access to information.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects as needed.
Experience
- 5 years of previous experience in a bookkeeping role is preferred; relevant internships or training will be considered.
- An understanding of basic accounting principles is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
