Job Description : Human Resources Director and Financial Analyst

Position Overview : A $950 million community bank seeks a dynamic and versatile professional to join our team as a Human Resources and Financial Analyst. This role is uniquely designed to combine Human Resource (HR) management and advanced financial analysis responsibilities, requiring a balanced skill set in people operations, data management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will spend approximately 60% of their time on HR duties and the remaining 40% on report creation, data analysis, and project-based financial work.

Key Responsibilities :

Human Resources Duties (60%)

  • Administer day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with employment regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Manage recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Provide support for employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.
  • Coordinate and execute training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal requirements.

Financial Analysis and Reporting (40%)

  • Design, develop, and maintain financial models and reports using Excel functionalities.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and synthesize data for project-based initiatives.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reporting deliverables.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
  • Requirements : Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a combined HR and / or analytical role, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros, and data visualization tools).
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and financial analysis software is a plus.
