The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing professional, customer-centric support for the whole organization here at Newfront. You have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to support all day-to-day IT support activities, and partner with the Sr. IT Support Specialist to help build a high-level IT Support Team.
This is a full-time in-office role that will support all Newfront employees. The expectation is that role will be in the San Mateo office 5 days a week. This person may be required to travel to other bay area offices and must have solid transportation.
What You'll Be Responsible For :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support, providing assistance to both on-site and remote Newfront team members.
- Monitoring and triaging IT support requests from Slack and Jira Service Desk.
- Documenting detailed tasks and resolutions within our IT Service Desk ticketing system.
- Troubleshooting basic hardware and software related IT issues in person or via remote tools.
- Assisting the IT team with the onboarding and offboarding process.
- Ensuring IT best practices are utilized by our end users.
- Maintaining asset inventory, as well as managing company devices that will be used internally or distributed to our end users.
- Collaborate in the development and maintenance of documentation for supported applications and processes, ensuring clear guidelines for the internal IT team.
- Partner in creating hardware and software training guides to provide users with clear instructions on how to use and / or set up internal IT applications.
- Providing training on new and existing IT systems.
- Providing systems administration within all our cloud-based system software, which include Azure, Intune, O365, Kandji, Okta, AWS, and Vertafore.
- Supporting and presenting to incoming new hires at New Hire Orientation.
- Participating in larger IT projects and initiatives from our IT roadmap.

The pay range for this position in California, Washington, Colorado and New York at commencement of employment is expected to be between $59,600 and $74,500 / yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
