Human Resources Assistant (Bi-Lingual in Spanish)
Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment of candidates for hourly- nonexempt positions, coordination of interviews, testing, and onboarding activities. This position backs up payroll functions for the Human Resources Department and assists with various duties to support personnel requests. The HRA will also help with front desk and office support functions.
Schedule: Full-time (7 am-4 pm)
Essential Duties:
- Prepare lobby area for the day; unlock main entrance doors, manage the visitor register and badges.
- Answer the plant main telephone line and connect caller to correct extension or department and page as necessary.
- Greet visitors; ensure visitor sign in, present badge and inform employee of their visitor.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and courier packages to staff. Arrange for courier packages/letters to be sent to appropriate destinations.
- Assist with payroll administration.
- Administers the full cycle recruiting process to include job postings, coordination of candidates for positions, setting up candidate tours, and coordinates testing and on-boarding of new employees, including Alchemy training.
- Updates Employee Monitors topics and presentations monthly.
- Completes monthly temp labor reports and other reports as assigned by HR Manager.
- Coordinates the ordering and distribution of uniforms and the plant shoe program.
- Updates attendance reports and occurrence system, calculate labor transfers.
- Fold paystubs, handout paystubs/checks and timecards.
- Assist with plant/recruiting events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (Read/Write and Speak fluently).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years’ experience in full cycle recruiting functions, or HR Generalist / Assistant role.
- Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point. A general knowledge of other Microsoft Office software. Must be comfortable with learning and using other software and systems (Org Plus, Lotus Notes, AS 400 etc.)
