Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns with empathy.
- Manage medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks such as filing insurance claims.
- Support emergency medicine procedures when necessary, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Collaborate with internal medicine teams to provide comprehensive care for patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and emergency medicine practices.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with medical administrative support functions is an asset.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is preferred but not mandatory.
