Vice President, Marketing & Strategy
Primary Objective
Designs the overall product and marketing strategy for Newmar that enables the organization to achieve its short-term and long-term objectives as it relates to market share and profitability. Connecting our product strategy to our customer, and their experiences with our brand, will be a critical area of focus for this role. This person will report to Newmar President, Casey Tubman.

Designs the overall product and marketing strategy for Newmar that enables the organization to achieve its short-term and long-term objectives as it relates to market share and profitability. Connecting our product strategy to our customer, and their experiences with our brand, will be a critical area of focus for this role. This person will report to Newmar President, Casey Tubman.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Develops a 5-year product roadmap with specific goals and milestones that align with the business' strategic objectives
- Creates business cases for new business and products based on research and market analysis - owns the outlying demand volume forecast
- Leads research for new products, product enhancements, product redesign and evaluates the potential practicality of products in development
- Understands the customer and delivers marketing and product solutions that meet or exceed the customer's expectations
- Establishes strategic partnerships with industry experts in order to develop new products or improve existing products
- Collaborates and partners with enterprise stakeholders to leverage capabilities where possible and build them within the team for the future
- Partners with other area leaders to help foster and develop sub-strategies to support the broader Newmar LRP.
- Defines and measure success with clear KPIs - SMART
- Oversees market research to identify new product opportunities that meet customer needs
- Directs, plans, and tracks all phases of the product life cycle
- Responsible to align budgets for product development projects and manages expenses throughout the process
- Ensures strategies consider all EHS standards of the future and meets/exceeds them
- Leads the development of a customer journey map that will examine the various touchpoints customers and dealers have with our Brand
- Oversees Brand management and marketing efforts through post-purchase
- Develops a digital roadmap for Newmar that will enhance critical touchpoints across various platforms that enable customer research, purchasing, and post-purchase care

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- At least 10 or more years of relevant marketing, product development or business unit leadership experience
- Previous experience using data analysis tools and techniques
