Job Description
The principal purpose of the Procurement Director is to work with Facilities Management and Property Management leaders to help build & continuously improve all Category Management, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management activities for Newmark's Facilities & Project Management categories. This role is responsible for both strategy and program development, and the execution of that strategy. The Procurement Director will primarily support Newmark's Global Corporate Services and Property Management business units. To begin, this role will be a senior-level, individual contributor that over time will hire, develop, and oversee a team of Category Managers.
Additionally, the Procurement Director will be responsible for supporting all business units in business development efforts where supply chain management is applicable. The individual in this role must have experience in preparing business development materials and presenting to all levels of the organization (external client experience is highly valued).
Internally, the Procurement Director will collaborate heavily with both the Global Procurement Data & Analytics Lead and on-account procurement professionals in the development of procurement best practices, policies and procedures. A strong background in finance and data analysis will be critical to the success of this role. The Procurement Director will be responsible for meeting or exceeding all procurement and business unit shared targets and goals and will work with the Head of Global Procurement to package and communicate those results for dissemination across the executive team(s). Additionally, this individual will work closely with business unit Account Managers, Property Managers and Finance professionals.
Responsibilities
Program Development
- In partnership with the Head of Procurement and business unit Executives develop a Preferred Supplier program for Facility and Project Management spend categories that delivers exceptional value to our clients and improves the efficiency of our on-account professionals
- Partnering with the Global Procurement Head of Data & Analytics, complete deep and thorough spend analyses to drive the prioritization of program goals and targets
- Develop a platform for communication of created program materials that is easily accessible by individuals who will leverage the program (think SharePoint, Power BI, Newmark Intranet, etc.)

Salary : $160,000 - $180,000 annually
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $180,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
