About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Loan Asset Manager to join our team at Newmark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing lender consent requests, including transfers of ownership, easements, and property management changes, for our servicing portfolio of GSE, CMBS, and Life Company loans.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer lender consent requests, ensuring compliance with applicable loan documents and servicing agreements.
- Measure potential risk in transactions and minimize or mitigate exposure.
- Manage borrower expectations and collaborate with originators/UW to meet internal customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively among all parties involved in a transaction, including borrowers, attorneys, Master Servicers, Special Servicers, and Lenders.
- Ensure timely completion of transactions according to investor guidelines and/or loan documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, Law, Finance, or Management preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial or multifamily loan asset management experience, preferably in processing borrower consent requests within the Freddie Mac K-Deal, Fannie Mae, and CMBS space.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey loan status and develop loan workout/resolution plans.
- Strong analytical skills, including property operations, borrower financials, and market performance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and excellent organizational skills.
