About The Role

Newmont is looking for a Director of Executive Talent Acquisition. In this pivotal role, you will drive our executive recruitment strategy, attracting top-tier leadership talent to advance our business goals and foster operational excellence. Collaborating closely with senior executives, you will deliver innovative talent solutions, strengthen internal career growth opportunities, and support the organization in building robust talent pipelines. Leverage an established professional network to identify, connect with, and engage passive candidates. What You'll Do

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with senior leadership to align executive recruitment strategies with organizational goals and ensure seamless delivery of top-tier talent for Executive roles.
  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the entire executive hiring process, from identifying candidates to negotiating offers, while delivering an exceptional experience for all stakeholders.
  • Internal Talent Growth: Champion internal talent engagement by prioritizing internal candidates and supporting career development.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Support the organization in building and maintaining a strong network of high-caliber industry leaders to support current and future business needs.
  • Vendor Management: Partner with external executive search firms for complex assignments, ensuring optimal performance and results.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance the executive recruitment process to increase efficiency and improve outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage recruitment data to inform strategic decisions and highlight the impact of executive hiring efforts.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Extensive background in executive recruitment, including sourcing and assessing senior-level talent.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to manage and inspire teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion.
  • Knowledge & Skills:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the extraction industry to stay attuned to market dynamics, anticipate changes in competitor landscapes, and proactively identify and capitalize on emerging talent opportunities.
  • Advanced expertise in candidate assessment, negotiation, and recruitment technology tools (ATS/CRM).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engaged stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem solving ability to navigate through complexity and identify solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the global talent market. Ability to design and execute targeted strategies to attract and secure top executive talent. understanding of the extraction industry is essential for a Talent

Acquisition leader to stay attuned to market dynamics, anticipate shifts in competitor landscapes, and proactively identify and capitalize on emerging talent opportunities.

  • In-depth knowledge of executive compensation strategies, including market trends, and incentive structures, to attract and retain top leadership talent.
  • Ability to identify and leverage market insights to develop effective recruitment strategies and attract top talent.

Working Conditions

The salary range offered for this role is USD $187,000 - $222,000. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
