The Lead, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and strategic development of HR systems and information management at both the business unit (BU) and enterprise levels. This role ensures continuous improvement, compliance, integration, and reporting within HR technology platforms while leading system-related projects.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $124,000-162,750. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.

The Lead, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and strategic development of HR systems and information management at both the business unit (BU) and enterprise levels. This role ensures continuous improvement, compliance, integration, and reporting within HR technology platforms while leading system-related projects.
As part of our team you will
- Implement processes to enable the continuous improvement of HRIS Systems, People Processes & Reporting for BU and Enterprise.
- Develop and Deliver HR Systems Projects for BU and Enterprise Level.
- Lead HR System and Information Management at BU and Enterprise Level.
- Support regional People Systems Delivery at a BU-Level and Site.
- Work closely with the IT team to conduct routine tests and updates on the HRIS system.
- Facilitate the implementation of essential training for end users so they are able to effectively utilize the HRIS.
- Maintain adherence to data protection laws such as GDPR to ensure compliance.
- Produce HR reports and guarantee adherence to local and national regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, or a related field. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- 7-10 years of experience in HRIS management, IT systems, or HR technology strategy.
- Expertise in the use and administration of the SAP SuccessFactors modules and functionality is required.
- Experience with HR system integration, digitalization, and HR process automation.
- Proven track record in HR compliance, SOX requirements, and regional HR regulations.
- Strong background in HRIS project management, system implementation, and technology roadmaps.
- The preferred location for this role is our headquarters in Denver, CO but qualified candidates in proximity to any of our operations or regional offices are encouraged to apply as remote or hybrid arrangements may be considered.
- If hired in Canada the applicable base salary range is CAD $134,640-176,715
