Lead the identification and customization of site-specific learning programs, ensure tech training governance and compliance, manage government certification funding, and develop annual technical training plans based on WFP.
As Part Of Our Team You Will
- Identify BU and site-specific learning programs, needs, content, and facilitation.
- Diagnose the effectiveness of training programs and define areas that need tailoring and customization
- Drive tech training governance, inclusive of audits, and compliance to regulatory standards
- Create Technical training annual plan based on WFP
- Lead government certification funding
- Define and create site-specific learning programs from conducting needs assessments to facilitation
- Apply Newmont’s Learning Management System to lead and diagnose learning and technical training programs.
- Collaborate closely with enterprise Talent and Learning teams, Enterprise I,D&E, site People team members, site training teams, and other pertinent site teams (e.g. R@W) to understand and plan as per business needs.
- Lead the resourcing of training programs for the BU with capable facilitators and ensure the effective facilitation of all programs.
- Guide on the individual and team capabilities and skills required of professionals in training roles.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Communications or Liberal Arts field; organizational development or Psychology advanced degree in business is beneficial. Formal education qualifications in Education, Training and Development, or a related field,
- Experience in the Implementation of development, and learning programs at frontline, superintendent, manager levels.
- Competent with Learning Management Systems.
- Advanced level of proficiency in Trends and technologies in talent management and learning, in implementing learning programs, Site-specific learning program identification, training Program development, Technical training governance, Compliance management, and funding management, annual training planning knowledge, Advanced in Content customization, Government certification funding management.
- Proficiency in facilitating meetings and learning programs.
- Identify practical application proficiency in training program development and regulatory compliance that best supports these activities within Newmont.
- Familiarity with training management systems and funding processes, including the ability to carry out specific activities using appropriate tools and processes to achieve defined business outcomes.
- In this hybrid role, based in our Miami office, you will collaborate and interact with teams across global, regional, and site organizations, as well as other service and operational areas of Newmont, spanning multiple time zones.
- This position requires regular travel to both domestic and international sites.
