Your impact
Oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. This role will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data across the organization, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for master data management initiatives.
As part of our team you will
- Collaborate with the IT Director, Portfolio and Governance, and other senior leadership to develop and execute the IT strategy for Master Data Governance. Align IT projects with business objectives to enhance data quality and governance.
- Oversee the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of SAP MDG. Ensure system integrity, security, and performance to support master data accuracy and consistency.
- Lead IT projects related to Master Data Governance, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes. Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project resources effectively.
- Identify opportunities to enhance master data management processes through SAP MDG and related technologies. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the IT Portfolio and Governance domain.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development for team members.
- Act as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring clear communication and understanding of master data governance requirements. Provide support to end-users, promoting effective use of SAP MDG.
- Ensure master data governance solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity and IT operations.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $137,000 to 160,000. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and / or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
