Your impact
As the Director, Flotation, you will lead the development, implementation, and governance of flotation strategies and standards across Newmont. Your work will directly enhance the performance of flotation circuits, support innovation, and build technical excellence within our global operations.
As part of our team, you will
- Lead global flotation process improvement initiatives
- Guide reagent strategy development and equipment selection
- Oversee lab and pilot plant testing, process modeling, and plant trials
- Partner with sites to troubleshoot and optimize flotation circuits
- Drive knowledge sharing and team development across technical functions
- Represent Newmont externally with vendors, research institutions, and partners
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering (postgraduate preferred)
- Extensive experience in flotation processes, plant trials, and optimization
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
- Expertise in circuit design, modeling, and reagent dosing strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across global teams
