About this role
What will you be responsible for?
- Be responsible for the Full Potential program at CC&V. Facilitate the identification, diagnosis, design, implementation, tracking, and closure of initiatives to build value, promote efficiency and keep the business competitive amongst its peers.
- Provide training, mentoring, and support to employees in business improvement and project management practices, motivating employees in the improvement of their departments and functions performance.

Here is a snapshot of what your day-to-day will look like:
- Initiate, coordinate and lead all aspects of the site Full Potential program implementation, including of Full Potential Refresh, TCO External Spend, OT&BI, Rapid Replication, and Productivity Tables.
- Provide mentorship to initiative leads in the use of project tracking and reporting tools.
- Support site Business planning process
- Provide insight on cost and efficiency to the site management team.

You Training, Skills & Experience
Here is what we would need to see from you!
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, metallurgy, or geology.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management and/or continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, proven interpersonal skills to effectively connect with both business and technical constituents.
- 5-10 years of combined experience in a mining environment
- Experience facilitating and coordinating meetings and workshops for small and large groups of people; strong process facilitation and presentation skills.
- Experience in management of change, including partner management.
- Previous leadership (supervisory) experience and confirmed ability to achieve results through others.
- Experience in preparing presentations and reports; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

This position is located at our Cripple Creek & Victor mine located in Colorado.

The salary range offered for this role is $134,240- 159,410. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
