We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Bartender to join the ¡VIVA! by Ray Garcia, team. You’ll be responsible for crafting innovative cocktails, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and contributing to the lively atmosphere that makes ¡VIVA! a standout destination.

The future Sunny in the heart of Sunny Isles Beach is poised to redefine the beach getaway experience offering a perfect blend of rich history and unparalleled amenities. The resort will feature 339 spacious guest rooms, an eclectic private art collection, six food and beverage outlets, a fitness center, spa & salon, ocean-front pool with tiki bar and fire pits, beach club, and over 22,000 square feet of event space, including a unique oceanfront terrace. 

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including classic cocktails, signature creations, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
• Provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service, ensuring guests feel welcome and engaged.
• Collaborate on seasonal menus and drink specials, incorporating new trends and guest preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, restock inventory, and monitor supplies.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Work seamlessly with other team members, including barbacks, servers, and management, to ensure smooth operations.
• Recommend beverages and pairings to enhance guest experiences and drive sales.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or lounge.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and mixology techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for hospitality, creativity, and providing memorable guest experiences.
• Must meet the legal requirements to serve alcohol (age and certifications as applicable).
