We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team at ¡VIVA! by Ray Garcia. As a Host you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and are seated promptly. This role is crucial in setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.

The Sunny is set to redefine the beach getaway experience, offering a blend of rich history and unparalleled amenities. The resort will feature 339 spacious guest rooms, an eclectic private art collection, six food and beverage outlets, a fitness center, spa & salon, ocean-front pool with tiki bar and fire pits, beach club, and over 22,000 square feet of event space, including a unique oceanfront terrace.

Responsibilities

What you wil be doing:

• Greet guests as they arrive and thank them upon departure.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests using our reservation system.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide menus.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
• Address guest inquiries and accommodate special seating requests when possible.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

• Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
