We are a family owned business located on the water in Newport Harbor. We are a boating company that takes people out whale watching, fishing, coastal cruising, and more. We are a high volume, fast paced, casual environment that takes pride in excellent customer service. We are seeking 1 full time individual that has an upbeat and positive attitude willing to take on challenges.
As a Call Center Representative within our company, you will be responsible for a variety of sales/customer service duties.
Job Requirements:
- Strong verbal communication skills both on the phone and in person.
- Detail oriented, organized and efficient.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed.
- Courteous, friendly, and professional manner

- Learns quickly
- Ability to sit/stand for long durations.
- Ability to maintain composure under difficult and/or hostile interactions
Job Description:
- Answer incoming calls that will include reservations and general questions for all businesses associated with Davey’s Locker and Newport Landing.
- Some out-bound calls to confirm trips or set up future excursions.
- Enter customer's reservations into our system and send confirmations via email
- Determining a customer's needs and routing them to the proper department
- Data entry and document filing.
- Mid-day, and evening shifts available
Job Skills:
- Must have Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to follow directions
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
