DAYS PER YEAR: 185 DAYS PER WEEK: 5 HOURS PER DAY: 7.75
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidates who champion a growth mindset and promote a sense of inquiry for all students are greatly valued in our educational organization. The selected candidate will possess an ability to ignite students’ interest in English/language arts and engage students in meaningful learning opportunities through project-based inquiry.
Responsible for English curriculum and instruction for high school students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, NH 7-12 English certification
Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, techniques involved in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
Strong classroom management skills including experience.
PREFERRED: Two or more years of experience teaching high school. Experience with competency-based education.
SALARY RANGE: NTA contract.
STARTING DATE: When filled.
