Paraeducator II Special Education Partner Program

DAYS PER YEAR:  185      DAYS PER WEEK:   5   HOURS PER DAY:   7_     POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assist the Special Education Case Manager with the classroom supervision of a student(s).  Support special needs student within the regular education classroom setting.  Manage organization, supervision, and daily tasks of student as dictated by the IEP and /or Case Manager.   QUALIFICATIONS: Highly Qualified as a Paraprofessional      REQUIRED: Must be Highly Qualified Complete two years of study at an institution of higher education; or Obtain an associate’s degree (or higher) degree; or Meet a rigorous standard of quality and be able to demonstrate Through a formal assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in instruction of reading, writing, and mathematics (or when appropriate, reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness).   Preferred:  Middle School classroom support experience.     SALARY RANGE : Per bargaining agreement     STARTING DATE:  As soon as possible
