DAYS PER YEAR: 185DAYS PER WEEK: 5HOURS PER DAY: 7_POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Special Education Case Manager with the classroom supervision of a student(s). Support special needs student within the regular education classroom setting. Manage organization, supervision, and daily tasks of student as dictated by the IEP and /or Case Manager.QUALIFICATIONS: Highly Qualified as a ParaprofessionalREQUIRED: Must be Highly QualifiedComplete two years of study at an institution of higher education; orObtain an associates degree (or higher) degree; orMeet a rigorous standard of quality and be able to demonstrateThrough a formal assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in instruction of reading, writing, and mathematics (or when appropriate, reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness).Preferred: Middle School classroom support experience.SALARY RANGE : Per bargaining agreementSTARTING DATE: As soon as possible
