Primary Function
The Inquiry Team Specialist I is responsible for responding to written correspondence.
Principal Duties:
- Respond to borrower's inquiries regarding a variety of subjects.
- Familiarize yourself with tasks used to address particular inquiries.
- Be able to navigate the team's OneNote to use as a reference guide.
- Be able to compose responses with minimal errors, that sound professional while still being understandable to the least sophisticated borrower.
- Manage your worklist to ensure that items do not age more than is necessary.
- Meet department standards for both productivity and accuracy.
- Assist in the loan servicing inboxes if needed.
- Assist in working loan servicing tasks if needed.
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- 0 - 2 years’ relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Intermediate MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook knowledge.
- Excellent work ethic, high productivity, and acute attention to detail needed.
- Must possess a short learning curve related to assimilation of new skills and tasks.
- Superior written and verbal communication, follow-up skills and a strong sense of accountability a must.
- Superior organizational skills needed.
- Ability to multi-task as well as quickly adapt to changing work assignments.
