The Networks of Mid-Missouri is seeking a full-time Newscast Director for its newsroom in Columbia. The director must have the ability to work under pressure.The successful candidate's duties will include directing and technical directing of newscasts, pre-production, graphics, managing studio assistants and other duties as assigned.Qualifications : Applicants must have knowledge of newscast production techniques, the ability to handle many tasks at once while leading the behind-the-scenes production team of a live newscast and good management skills. Experience with production switchers, Adobe Photoshop and Chyron CG products is helpful. Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication or a related field is preferred. Previous newsroom experience is a plus.
