About the Role
The General Counsel position at NILC will report directly to the President and lead the organization in identifying, analyzing, and addressing the organization’s internal legal risks and needs. The General Counsel serves as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will identify and analyze legal issues impacting NILC and its sister 501(c)4 organization, the NILC Immigrant Justice Fund.

Qualifications Required :
Education : Juris Doctorate and member in good standing of a State Bar.
Experience :
Location and Travel :
Up to 30 percent of overnight interstate travel may be required; generally, travel is quarterly to the NILC Washington, D.C. office or another location within the US for 3-5 nights.
Compensation :
The salary range for this role is $154,900 - $193,600, with an incredible benefit package including employer-paid healthcare coverage, retirement plan, paid parental leave, and a generous paid-time-off policy.
