Small Business Lending LLC is looking for a Loan Accounting Analyst .
The Loan Accounting Analyst is responsible for the daily boarding of newly originated loans, accurately processing rate changes, posting loan payments / payoffs and, updating loan accounting system data as dictated by loan modifications and other servicing actions. The position will require the detailed review of these same functions as entered by other team members to ensure adherence to department and organizational process controls.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities :
- Boarding new loans onto the accounting system
- Processing daily payments and payoffs
- Processing deferments, Note modifications, payoff quotes, and accrual status changes as needed
- Posting daily cash received to the loan accounting system and reconciling to GL
- Reconcile loans and participations to ensure accurate accounting of loans serviced
- Creation and maintenance of reports for management
- Review data entered into the loan accounting system by other team members
- Assist with ad hoc reporting requests and process improvement projects as needed
- Collaborate with loan servicing, loan closing and other related departments to resolve complex issues as they arise
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Education & Certification Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance preferred
Salary range : $70,000 to $90,000 annually
