Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Manage and monitor construction schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment needed for construction projects
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality of workmanship
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficient in construction management software such as Prolog and HeavyBid
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and contract documents
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
