Are you a motivated and organized individual with a knack for multitasking? We're looking for a dynamic Inside Sales Representative and Administrative Assistant to be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring exceptional service and a seamless purchasing experience.
In this hybrid role, you'll handle a range of tasks including sales, customer service, and cashier duties, while providing vital administrative support to our Accounting department. Your responsibilities will encompass greeting customers, explaining products, upselling items, processing payments, managing customer inquiries, providing quotes, and placing orders. Additionally, you'll manage a portfolio of existing accounts, nurture relationships, and identify growth opportunities. On the administrative side, you'll handle data entry, transaction recording, batch verification, filing, deposits, and basic office tasks. Your dedication to outstanding service and sales acumen will significantly contribute to our company's success and customer satisfaction.
Key Qualifications:
- Organized, proactive, and sales-oriented
- A solid grasp of sales and customer relationship management
- Proficiency in B2B inside sales techniques
- Confident handling sales over the phone
- Experience as a cashier
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles
- Comfortable with computer systems and software (CRMs, transactional systems, Quickbooks, MS Excel)
- Passion for plants and the green industry
Responsibilities:
- Book sales with walk-in customers and manage a small customer portfolio
- Checkout customers in the store while upselling and cross-selling products
- Communicate effectively with customers and vendors via phone, email, and text
- Provide valuable support to the Accounting department and the Store Manager
- Engage in essential office tasks, including filing, data entry, and mail processing
- Process transactions, post payments, and distribute statements
Requirements:
- 3 years of proven experience in Inside Sales
- 1 year of experience in Administrative Assistant roles
- Proficiency in sales and exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent time management and both written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and software
- Proven ability to multitask effectively
- Dedication to working efficiently and maintaining accuracy
