This position is part of the NCE Summer Operations team and performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties to ensure effective and efficient daily operations of NCE Summer programs.

Required Qualifications
- Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with staff, campers and the public, delivering a high level of customer service
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks at one time with, at times, frequent interruptions
- Ability to operate a personal computer and display an intermediate level of proficiency when using programs for word processing, spreadsheets database and other software as required by the position.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- History of reliability, punctuality, and overall responsibility.
- Proficiency in a second language a plus
- Excellent references Clean CORI/SORI/fingerprint background check
Essential Job Duties
- Actively works to support NCE’s mission and values
- Provides excellent and timely customer service by answering questions in person, on the phone, and via email
- Responds tactfully to customer service inquiries and complaints and seeks to resolve problems in a positive manner
- Assists clients with registering, cancelling and transferring between classes; assists with communications to students and instructors.
- Assists in implementing various office operations including scheduling, sending, tracking, gathering, and filing of documents
- Produces and distributes class rosters
- Collects and submits new hire paperwork for instructors.
- Performs all general clerical duties including, but not limited to, word processing, making copies, filing, data entry, answering the telephone, opening and delivering mail, etc.
- Consistent, reliable and punctual attendance is essential
- Responsible for implementing “other job related duties” as needed
- Reads and abides by the summer staff handbook Attends the summer camp training
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to quickly navigate around a school building and outdoor areas Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
