Job Title : S.P.A.C.E. Camp Musical Theater Teacher / Director
Reports to : S.P.A.C.E. Camp Director
Summary : SPACE Camp Musical Theater Teacher / Director will implement and put on a junior musical theater performance for incoming 5th-9th grade students within the camp setting. This role includes casting, choreographing, and directing a performance with three and a half weeks of preparation time in the mornings, as well as coordinating a cabaret performance in the afternoons. Hours of work are 8 : 45 am - 3 : 45 pm, with a half hour lunch break.
Qualifications :
- Experience in a classroom setting
- Musical Theater Background and directing / assistant directing experience
- Teaching degree / certification strongly desired
