Mailroom Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Mailroom Coordinator is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring efficient distribution and record-keeping. This role includes account management for USPS, FedEx, and UPS, as well as maintaining office supply inventory and providing backup support for the receptionist. Additionally, the Mailroom Coordinator will assist the Maintenance Manager with small maintenance projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Mail & Package Management:
- Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail and packages.
- Collect and process all outgoing mail and packages.
- Scan and record all incoming and outgoing packages for tracking purposes.
- Manage accounts with USPS, FedEx, and UPS, ensuring proper billing and service coordination.
Office Supply Management:
- Stock necessary office supplies throughout the building.
- Maintain inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
Reception & Administrative Support:
- Serve as the backup receptionist during breaks and lunch.
- Fill in for the receptionist during scheduled time off or unexpected absences.
Maintenance Assistance:
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with small maintenance projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to lift and carry packages as needed.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and shipping procedures.
- Ability to multitask and support various departments.

Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Behavioral Health field is a plus.
