Associate Transplant Coordinator - Liver Transplant - Columbia University Irving Medical Center

The Associate Transplant Coordinator works closely with Transplant Coordinators (RN) and clinical staff to support comprehensive care for liver transplant patients, This role involves coordinating administrative aspects of transplant processes, including communication with patients, clinical staff and outside organizations. The coordinator ensures the smooth progression of patient care by managing appointment scheduling, document completion, and addressing patient needs throughout the pre and post-transplant process.

This position is located at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. The hours for this position are between Mondays and Fridays, between 9am and 5pm.

Preferred Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree
• EPIC and scheduling experience

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of third party insurances, government programs and other insurance agencies for purposes of obtaining any necessary authorizations for treatment

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
