Data Analyst - Occupational Health Operations & Analytics
As a member of our Occupational Medicine team, the Data Analyst will provide strong analytical skills and is responsible for internal and external reporting. In this role, you'll demonstrate research oriented behaviors, including data collection, basic measurement such as aggregation and summarization of data and general statistics and document practices. You will develop dashboards to showcase data visualization and interpretation on various data points such as work related injuries, surveillance programs, health exposures, and workplace violence. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting our clinicians as you develop job aides and training material to help them understand and utilize data.
This is a full time, day shift position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan and the ability for 1 day remote.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Preferred Criteria
- Master’s degree in health care management, math, economics or statistics
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R
- Experience using SmartSheet, Tableau, Power BI
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems and terminology, including using data from an electronic medical record platform
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of one to three years of related experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, interpret and visualize data from multiple sources with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
