Nexeo HR is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in Logan, UT. This full-time role is ideal for a responsible and professional individual who can manage high-volume debt collection activities with accuracy and efficiency. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple accounts effectively.
Responsibilities
• Communication: Manage inbound and outbound calls with debtors, employers, and other relevant parties.
• Negotiation: Establish payment arrangements and negotiate payment terms.
• Case Management: Prepare and organize cases for legal action.
• Research: Conduct thorough investigations using various online tools.
• Account Management: Maintain and track multiple accounts for efficient collection activities.
• Data Entry: Input and update information with accuracy in company databases.
• Professionalism: Interact courteously with debtors, employers, and court personnel.
• Compliance: Follow company policies and adhere to regulatory procedures.
• Support: Assist with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a courteous and respectful demeanor.
• Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and accurate data entry.
• Comfortable making calls to verify and collect information.
• Ability to locate and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Experience handling legal collection matters is a plus!
Pay
$16.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
