Nexeo HR is seeking a Franchise Development Specialist to drive the expansion of a leading wood refinishing brand across the U.S. This is a direct-hire opportunity to make a meaningful impact by guiding aspiring business owners through the franchise journey—from initial interest to successful onboarding.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging top talent, leading franchise recruitment efforts, educating candidates about business opportunities, and building and maintaining strong relationships with franchisees. You will also need to travel to Ann Arbor to meet potential franchisees in person, providing valuable insights and strengthening relationships.

Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of the brand and franchise model.
- Manage lead generation through websites, portals, and networking with franchise consultants.
- Guide candidates through the franchise qualification process, ensuring all requirements and documentation are met.
- Track and manage the sales process using franchise sales software.
- Organize and participate in "Meet the Team" days at the corporate office.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state franchise regulations.
- Attend trade shows and conferences to promote franchise opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams on marketing strategies and consultant communications.
- Maintain and update franchise recruitment content across various platforms.
- Achieve franchise development goals for lead conversion and expansion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven success in closing leads and managing recruitment pipelines.
- Experience in franchise development is a plus but not required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel (10-20%).
Pay
$70k - $80k Base Salary Commissions
Schedule
Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Friday (Some Flexibility)
