Responsibilities
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Lubricate and inspect all motors daily or as required to prevent breakdowns.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program to maximize equipment reliability.
• Provide “on-call” maintenance support during production hours to minimize downtime.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of critical parts and equipment needed for production operations.
• Research and order replacement parts, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and work areas in compliance with GMP/ISO standards.
• Collaborate with managers and production teams to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Assist with production operations and product handling as needed to support workflow.
• Participate in facility remodeling projects, offering technical expertise and support.
Qualifications
• 3–4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Operation of electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Repair and maintenance of mechanical and production equipment.
• Proficient in using power tools and basic hand tools.
• Performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Welding, with a focus on stainless steel materials.
• Boiler operations certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety procedures.
• Understanding and troubleshooting of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Comfortable working in conditions that may include exposure to powder mineral products, cleaning chemicals, and hazardous materials.
• Ability to work in restricted spaces and potentially dirty environments.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy objects as part of daily tasks.
• Must complete annual fit testing, which requires being clean-shaven and obtaining medical clearance (respirator medical certification).
• Adhere to proper respirator usage guidelines, maintaining a clean-shaven state when required for fit testing or job-related respirator use.
Pay
$24.00 - $27.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift | 11 AM – 9:00 PM | Monday – Thursday
