Responsibilities
• Operate plasma cutting machines to cut metal sheets, plates, and other materials according to blueprints and work orders.
• Set up and calibrate plasma equipment. Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, changing consumables, and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Inspect cut materials to ensure accuracy, precision, and adherence to required quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE use and safe operation of plasma cutting equipment.
• Load and unload materials into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
• Maintain records of production output, machine settings, and report any operational issues to the supervisor.
• Work closely with other operators and team members to maintain smooth production flow.
• Identify and suggest improvements to enhance machine efficiency, cutting quality, and reducing waste.
Qualifications
• Previous experience operating plasma cutting machines or other CNC Machinery is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of plasma cutting processes an ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to ensure all cuts meet specifications and quality standards.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment or process issues.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Must adhere to safety protocols regarding temperature, noise, and hazardous materials.
• Certifications or training in CNC machining, welding, or related fields is preferred.
• OSHA or similar safety certifications is a plus.

$24.00 | Hourly

Day Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Monday – Friday
