Prop Designer

Nexeo is seeking a talented Prop Designer for a direct-hire opportunity in Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities

• Design and detail custom props, trade show booths, and exhibit structures based on approved renderings.

• Generate 3D models, technical drawings, and detailed layouts for fabrication.

• Specify materials, hardware, lighting, and finishes to ensure safe and high-quality builds.

• Create scaled floorplans, electrical layouts, and setup drawings for production teams.

• Collaborate with design, production, and fabrication teams to bring concepts to reality.

• Develop CNC cut files and ensure precision in manufacturing processes.

• Research and recommend materials and construction techniques within project budgets and timelines.

• Maintain an organized workflow and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in exhibit design, prop fabrication, or trade show industry.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, Vectorworks, or other 3D vector design software.

• Experience in high-quality exhibit fabrication, architectural millwork, and cabinetry build-out.

• Knowledge of construction materials such as wood, metal, plastic, fabric, and laminates.

• Strong drafting, engineering, and mechanical skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Google Drive.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

Pay

$70k Salary

Schedule

Day Shift | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday – Friday

*Weekends as needed
