NexGen Elevation Hub is actively seeking dedicated professionals to join our growing team and make a lasting impact on the lives of at-risk youth. We are looking for a CPA, Program Manager, and Fundraising Coordinator who share our unwavering passion for improving the futures of teens who need it most.
As a fairly new startup, we’ve already established impactful partnerships with leading organizations, including Apple, GCTD, Kroger, ICE, and LIT Gym, among others. We are committed to building an efficient, effective, and transformative team that drives real change within communities.
Fundraising Coordinator Responsibilities
The Fundraising Coordinator plays a crucial role in securing the financial resources necessary to sustain and grow NexGen programs. Their responsibilities include:
Identifying Opportunities
- Research and identify potential funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donors, and charitable foundations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovative fundraising strategies to maximize outreach efforts.
Proposal and Grant Writing
- Draft compelling grant applications that align with NexGen’s mission, values, and programs.
- Write sponsorship proposals tailored to the interests and goals of corporate partners.
- Develop personalized letters and donor appeals to engage prospective and existing supporters.
Building Partnerships
- Establish and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors, community organizations, and individual donors.
- Collaborate with local businesses and chambers of commerce to identify mutually beneficial sponsorship opportunities.
Event-Based Fundraising
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events, such as galas, community engagement drives, auctions, or benefit programs.
- Ensure that events are marketed effectively to reach potential donors and sponsors.
Donor Communication and Stewardship
- Create and implement donor recognition strategies, such as thank-you letters, impact reports, and special acknowledgments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for donor inquiries and build long-lasting relationships by demonstrating transparency and gratitude.
Tracking and Reporting
- Monitor and report on fundraising performance metrics, including funding totals, donor retention rates, and campaign success.
- Maintain organized records of all fundraising activities, donor information, and grant submissions.
Collaborative Strategy Development
- Work closely with NexGen leadership and program teams to identify funding needs and align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities.
- Develop annual fundraising strategies and timelines to ensure sustainable growth and consistent funding sources.
Campaign Management
- Design and execute targeted campaigns, both online and offline, to increase donor engagement and attract new supporters.
- Utilize social media platforms, email newsletters, and partnerships for effective outreach.
The Fundraising Coordinator must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. They are vital in helping NexGen maintain its impact by ensuring a reliable stream of financial resources to support its initiatives.
