NexGen Exterior Home Remodeling, a seasoned home improvement business located in the Greater Philadelphia area, is seeking two Exterior Remodeling Consultants to conduct in-home sales presentations.

This position will require you to travel to the following counties:

  • New Jersey: Burlington, Camden, Gloucester
  • Pennsylvania: Bucks (Lower), Montgomery (Lower), Delaware
  • We do not service central Philadelphia

In business for 11 years, NexGen offers a variety of high-ticket services including roofing, windows, siding, decks, gutters and doors.

This role will offer you UNLIMITED earning potential. Utilizing our proven sales process, successful reps are currently making $180k annually.

You'll need to be a team player, excited to learn, and be driven to truly help homeowners see their vision come to life!

NexGen is unlike many other in-home sales organizations – we DO NOT rely on high-pressure sales tactics. We focus on giving the customer a consultative experience.

Utilizing technology our reps are able to provide designs for the homeowner. As they become a customer, our experienced Project Management team holds their hand through the installation process and they are able to follow progress using their NexGen App.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Run sales appointments on pre-qualified leads.
  • Quote customers and convert qualified appointments into sales, either during the appointment or through a pre-defined sales follow up process.
  • Measure and articulate what makes NexGen different.
  • Sell value, not price.
  • Actively listen to the customer. Provide prospective customers options which align with their expressed home improvement needs.
  • Grow pipeline by creating a referral network (training and additional earning potential available).
  • Maintain CRM records.
  • Ensure customers’ understanding of pricing, next steps, expected lead times, etc.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the customer and the company’s post-sale division for matters related to financing, contract changes, quality assurance, etc.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market trends, and competitor activity.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 year selling in a customer-facing retail sales environment OR College Degree in related field

  • Organized, both with internal record-keeping and with prospects providing consistent follow-up with prospects to ensure their sale goes through successfully.
  • Passionate about providing solutions: 1) Understanding customers wants and needs, 2) Assembling packages and communicating the value in our solutions to help them to see the full potential of their home, and 3) Helping them identify the best financing options to bring their dreams to fruition.
  • Positive and thoughtful in communication with your team, improving collaboration and ensuring a successful installation for every customer.
  • Willing to adopt new technology, helping NexGen innovate and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Excited to learn from others and share your insights to continue to improve yourself and support your team.
  • Able to execute tasks independently without needing to be micro-managed.

  • Ability to make your own schedule and be in charge of how much you earn. There is no upper limit on earnings, as it is based off of sales performance.
