Position Summary:
The Superintendent will oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all quality and safety standards. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the field operations, providing leadership to project teams, and ensuring the overall success of the project from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily field operations to ensure all project goals are met
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and labor crews
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and timelines
- Review and enforce safety standards and regulations on-site
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues
- Manage project budgets, materials, and supplies, ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
- Maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship across all phases of the project
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project progress
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site promptly
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry (4 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred)
