Superintendents are a key role in executing construction projects by organizing, planning, and overseeing project tasks - and keeping it on schedule. Not only will they be well-versed in all aspects of project oversight, but they also must exhibit superb client relation skills, a keen eye for details, and be a problem-solver who can efficiently prioritize and manage resources while in the field. A proven track record of scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing the daily construction activities for team members and subcontractors while maintaining safety compliance and maintaining daily job site work records are extremely important in this role.

What you’ll do:
- Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and within the allotted time schedule and budget in an efficient manner to produce the expected outcome
- Exhibit commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes and making necessary changes, using client input to make improvements, and meeting/exceeding internal and external client expectations
- Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to permit them to perform their work effectively and to integrate it with project schedules and progress
- Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for our company, our values, and the employees, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding client requirements and expectations
- Review and approve all requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and other significant reports and documents
- Make decisions under tight deadlines
- Coordinate with the Project Management team in preparing a schedule of construction activities and their sequence, the organization structure, staff selection, and the manpower and construction equipment requirements of the project
- Demonstrate leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, direct others, and adequately address conflict
- This position requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, snow while adhering to OSHA, federal, and Company safety protocols
- Follow up with any communication between the superintendent and the owner’s rep, while keeping the Project Management team aware of any conversations
- Keep and maintain accurate daily reports for all projects
What you have:
- 5 years of Superintendent experience within construction environments
- Background in construction field, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, commercial, and/or trade. Restaurant construction experience is a plus!
- Dust card and OSHA 30 certification
- A safety-oriented mindset to execute job functions within all OSHA compliance and inspection requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project, Excel, and Outlook
- Other safety or construction-related certifications are a plus!
Physical requirements:
Performance of the required duties will require the candidates to be willing to travel to and from job sites, as well as the company office during regular business hours. Candidates will encounter situations in which the ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates, conditions, and environments is required. Employees may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Compensation:
This position is full-time and exempt, and will pay $80,000.00-140,000.00 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include: paid time off including sick leave and holidays, paid parental leave, and a full spectrum of medical benefits offerings.
