We are currently seeking a Technical Lead - Cloud Based Projects to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).
The Technical Lead will oversee the technical execution of cloud-based projects for federal agencies, ensuring adherence to federal security standards, regulations, and best practices. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and architects, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage cross-functional technical teams in designing, developing, and delivering cloud-based solutions, ensuring full compliance with federal security and regulatory standards, such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
- Architect secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructures for federal systems, aligning with IT modernization objectives and evolving technology landscapes.
- Ensure all technical solutions and cloud implementations adhere to federal cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-53, FIPS, and other relevant guidelines to protect sensitive data.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor to agency stakeholders, translating complex technical requirements into strategic, actionable project plans and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Proactively identify and assess technical risks associated with federal cloud initiatives, devising and implementing comprehensive mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and security.
- Oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring code quality, conducting thorough code reviews, and enforcing federal agency-specific development and security protocols.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for cloud security breaches or system outages, ensuring all actions follow federal response protocols and best practices for recovery and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement of cloud systems by staying abreast of new technologies, federal mandates, and industry best practices, recommending enhancements to maintain operational excellence.
