Staff Accountant

Job Summary
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the accounting books for a set number of Nursing facilities to include all balance sheet, revenue and expense accounts. This candidate will analyze financial data in order to prepare financial reports, generate and interpret financial statements and variance reports for management.
Job Responsibilities
- Full cycle accounting for between 7 to 9 facilities
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations.
- Generate payroll integration files, import to GL and reconciliations.
- Preparation and analysis of monthly financial records
- Maintain fixed asset additions/disposals, depreciation and reconciliations.
- Prepares and processes general ledger entries, maintains records and
files; reconciles accounts.
Position Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel as well as have general PC skills.
