PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analysis
  2. Prepare and post journal entries
  3. Manage fixed asset and lease accounting process
  4. Assist in the preparation of data analytics and financial reports through SAP and other business intelligence tools 
  5. Completion of audit requests for both internal and external auditors
  6. Assist in the implementation of accounting systems, procedures and internal controls
  7. Support process improvement and standardization initiatives.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Experience / Background

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 2 Years of experience in accounting or finance functions
  • Proficiency in SAP and other financial reporting tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Experience with VBA, data analytics, and reporting automation is a plus.

  • Detail oriented with a high attention to quality
  • Comprehensive understanding of general accounting principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Tact and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive information
  • Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Must be reliable (attendance and job duties)
  • Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Positive attitude and able to adapt to changes quickly
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of people internally and externally
  • Ability to perform in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to research independently to drill down and find account discrepancies, identify problems, suggest viable solutions and make decisions within scope of responsibility
  • Ability to recognize opportunities to streamline and standardize global processes

Typical office or home office environment. Hybrid role 3 days in office and 2 remote.
