What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT/Workplace Support Engineer position at Nexperia?
We are looking for a dynamic IT / Workplace support engineer to cover predominantly our US population (>
200). This is an in-office role in Richardson, TX. The successful candidate will be involved in imaging laptops, on boarding, ongoing support, etc. in a predominantly Microsoft environment.
What you will do
- Support and deployment of infrastructure, network, and desktop
- Responsible for assisting on projects for other groups, such as Infrastructure, Network or Business Projects
- Inventory control and documentation.
- Coordinate & manage vendor support in alignment with Nexperia Vendor Management
- MDM or Modern Workplace knowledge and interest in the Modern Workplace functionality
- Service Desk Support, handling tickets via Global Ticket system
- Willingness, ability to work in a globally organized team, real team player
- Willingness, ability to coordinate Team activities and set priorities
- Leverage global shared services on site per Nexperia standards
- Nurture a positive working environment that reflects Nexperia’s values, ethical standards, and culture
- Reporting and discussion of status, findings, and outcomes to / with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure that IT Services are delivered effectively to users
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints
